PT9 installation confusion CPT2
I'm a bit confused as to whether I'm supposed to use the Complete Production Toolkit installer that comes with the PT9HD installation disk (download version).
At first I thought not, then someone at Sweetwater thought maybe yes you have to use that installer to bring PT9 up to HD-ness. But after I installed it there are two plugins that required authorization. Some stereo plug-in and XForm. Do those come with PT9HD? Should I NOT have used that installer? Should I delete those 2 plug-ins so they don't ask about authorization all the time? Thanks for any info. To be fair to Sweetwater I think the confusion is that all the Digi press releases make it seem that PT9HD is PT9 with all the features of CPT2. So it's a bit confusing as to whether or not that's built into the one installer or if it requires the PT9 installer followed by the CPT2 installer.

Re: PT9 installation confusion CPT2
All that is in the CPTK2 installer is those two plug ins, the rest of the features of PT9HD or PT9 with CPTK2 are 'unlocked' by having the right ilok license.
HD doesnt include either of the plugs that CPTK2 comes with. so you can move those plugs to the unused folder. |
