BBE Sonic Suite Optimized and PT12?
I've downloaded the installer of BBE Sonic Suite Optimized from Nomad Factory, run the installer, authorized successfully, but the plugins do not show up in ProTools, and don't appear to be in the proper AAX folder. I see the VST versions made it to the right place.
Anyone using BBE Sonic Suite Optimized successfully with PT12? I cannot figure out why the AAX do not seem to be installing, I'm selecting AAX on the installer... Tim |

Re: BBE Sonic Suite Optimized and PT12?
I have a folder in my Pro Tools plugins folder Macintosh HD - Library - Application Support - Avid - Audio - Plug-ins. Inside it are 4 plug-ins dated 11 July 2014, they all work for me in Pro Tools 12.4.

Re: BBE Sonic Suite Optimized and PT12?
Yep Mike, that's where they SHOULD be, but after running the installer three times, and each time it saying it's successful, they aren't there. I'm running the latest installer I can find, dated March of 2015. So strange.

Re: BBE Sonic Suite Optimized and PT12?
I just built a new OS X image and downloaded the latest installer; BBE_SWOP.dmg. The install worked fine (it's modification date is March 27, 2015) and the plug-ins were installed in;
/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/BBE Sound all have the same modification date; March 27, 2015. Are you not seeing the sub folder BBE under /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins ?

Nice plugins
Almost grabbed them but I have a few other plugins that do a similar job really. What's everyone's feedback on them?? |

Re: BBE Sonic Suite Optimized and PT12?
Love the BBE plugins! And in fact, I also have 3 hardware units (882i) in my rack. So I can verify the software emulates the hardware quite nicely. Adds a nice touch of brightness without being harsh, and you can even fine-tune the center frequency of the "lo contour" on the software version.

They have certainly been a name that has been around a long time in the hardware domain.

Re: BBE Sonic Suite Optimized and PT12?
Thanks Tim fir that post. Hsd no idea that these were updated. Get way too many emails from vendors of software so i probably either threw it in the trash or it was catched by spam so this was very helpful.
We have 2 of the 882i aswell and love 'em dearly, not that high end maybe but well worth the cost vs what you get.
