I'm having the same problem as well. I have installed and authorized my ProTools 10 HD, but nowhere in the installer file does it include a separate download for the "Creative Collection". I'm missing Boom, Xpand2, DB33, Mini-Grand, Vacuum, etc. and can't find the downloaders anywhere. Can anyone provide a link to where I can download these?

...or...

Avid, explain why it wasn't included on my installer (which was downloaded from a link provided by Avid).

Please help!

There are 2 installers for pro tools 10. The core program and one for "avid virtual instruments". You'll need to install both files.

Thanks for the info. For some reason, Avid only sent me a link to the ProTools installer and not the one for the instruments. You'd think by now Avid would just include every Avid distributed plugin in the ProTools installer and then let the software remove unlicensed plugins upon first startup. This has always been such a pain in the ass having to download and install 25+ additional plugins that very easily could have been included in the PT install disc (bomb factory, sound replacer, smack, etc. etc,).

Or at least a mass "ALL PLUGINS" installer to make things even easier!

If anyone has a link to the "Virtual Instruments" installer file, I'd much appreciate it!

I installed Pro Tools 10HD 10.3.2 and then installed Avid Virtual Instruments 10.3 "Installer." I see Vacuum and DB33 plugins in my plugins selection drop down and I am able to select and open them however, I do not see anything that leads me to their presets. If I click on "Import Settings" under 'Presets" I only find myself at an empty Vacuum folder. I have looked in the Applications-AVID-Avid Virtual Instruments and there I find, Boom, Xpand2, Mini Grand, Structure Free and Structure Quick Start but find nothing for Vacuum.I have tried to spotlight search for Vacuum or Vacuum presets and I can find nothing. Ultimately I cannot load presets in any of the Avid Virtual Instruments. I have used a preset in Vacuum that I cannot find and I need it desperately.
Any suggestions?

Also, if you keep having problems, do make sure the proper plugin files are in the proper plugin folder in your library. Not sure where it is on PC but on Mac it's under Library>Application Support>Digidesign>Plug-ins.

Just go to the Pro Tools update page and the instruments are there.
