Default HEY DIGI! Why is admin access required????????

I was wondering why an OSX user must have admin privaleges to use your software. Thats really bad news.

I think this is because ProTools has all the prefs and files that it need to write to in the slash directories not the user directories, so that to enable ProTools software to write to these directories then it must have admin priveliges.
I know a number of facilities that are annoyed about this, but hey, it was the way it always worked in OS 9 etc.
I am sure that at some time in the future this will be addressed but for the time being it is easy to live with.
Plan for the worst, Hope for the Best.
