I have Toast 8 & 9 and have never had a bad experience
the only issue i have had personally is that bootable DVD DMG file do not always verify after burning, But Apples disk utility works fine for that so no need for toast on bootable images ( big deal )

I have had clients that have had issue and it ALWAYS is attributed to either the poor media, dirty disks, or Dust bunnies in the drive tray

I know.... " But I have the best media money can buy."
How do you know that that batch is perfect or even that every 6th disk is ok

Sometimes the name brand stuff works way more reliable than the funny sounding non branded Japanese / Chinese crap...I mean the stuf you were told by a salesman that, that brand(s) is top notch

Also how many tasks is that source drive doing while its also being used for
streaming data to the burner ?

Just bought PMCD a month ago. It's the way to go on Mac! Not easy to learn and the manual is really bad, but, after a while you'll really enjoy it!

How are you printing timing sheets?

You won't find anything as good as CD Architect for the Mac. Peak LE is practically worthless, imo.

Logic's Waveburner is pretty good for compiling CD's but you have to own Logic (which is crap seeing as I owned it standalone some time ago but lets not go there) Apart from that it is easy to use and very flexible with a pretty nice interface, the plugs are useful as well for demo purposes.
Digi should have updated the old Master CD to be like this.

Another Waveburner user here. I've been using it since '99 when it first came out.

It just works and is simply and elegant.

What about burn speeds?

Do you get a more reliable burn at slower speeds, or is not an issue with newer faster drives?
