Default iLok question for old digi 001 5.1

Hello, I have an old dig 001 5.1 that I am going to have to reinstall due to the fact I have to get my hard drive wiped clean because of a few bad sectors. My question is, do I need anything else besides the iLok that came with the software, like a code? When I Purchased my protools I had a dawbox made for it and the builder installed everthing including the iLok. The computer was never on the internet until recently so I never upgraded anything, now I have to upgrade my ancient Win98se to XP, will this affect the iLok?
