I searched the 10.1 Shortcut pdf, and scoured the interetnz, but thanks for the link!

Anyways, short answer - No.

Seems like a short cut for "New Audio Track," and "New MIDI Track" with default values specified in Preferences would nice.

in the immortal words of Jean-Luc Picard, PT programmers... "Make it so."

Command/shift/n on a Mac brings up the new track window and you use the arrow keys to navigate around that. In PT 11 it looks like there's shortcuts to do some of what you want that are even simpler than the way we do things now. What exactly do you mean by default values specified in Preferences?

@musicman691 - If there were a single stroke shortcut for "New Audio Track" you might prefer the default be 'mono', or 'stereo', or "5.1" etc..

Fire up this AppleScript from anything you like, it takes less than half a second to execute:

activate application "Pro Tools"
tell application "System Events"
tell process "Pro Tools"
keystroke "n" using {command down, shift down} -- Invokes "Track/New..." dialog
repeat until exists window "New Tracks"
end repeat
repeat 4 times
key code 125 using {command down} -- Down arrow key with command key pressed
end repeat
key code 76 -- For enter key, return works as well
end tell
end tell

You're welcome, if you need further assistance lets take it over to another (maybe more appropriate) forum section, maybe Tips & Tricks or General Discussion

Whatever you prefer.
