MIDI PROBLEMS - DIGI PLEASE HELP!!

SETUP:

MIX CORE
ADAT BRIDGE 24
PT 5.1.3
G4 400 / 1GIG RAM
40 GIG IDE / 30 GIG IDE / 10 GIG IDE
STEALTH SERIAL
OPCODE STUDIO 4

PROBLEM 1:
Sometimes when I try to insert a midi note on a midi track, the note appears when I clik the mouse button, but when I release the note dissapears.

PROBLEM 2:
Sometimes when I try to delete a midi note, the note cannot be deleted

PROBLEM 3:
When I duplicate a selecton of midi notes the duplicated selection has double triggered notes at random (midi merge is not on) and when I look at the midi event list while I duplicate the selection, I can see the double triggered notes in the event list.

PROBLEM 4:
When i'm placing the selection tool in between 2 midi notes sometimes one or the other or both of the midi notes are selected when they should not be because I inserted those notes to the grid. ( the notes should be quantized to the grid but they seem to be a little longer at the end or beginning of the note. )

THINGS I'VE TRIED:

I DELETED ALL PT RELATED PREFS
Digisetup
Pro Tools Prefs
DAE Prefs

I used NORTON on all my drives.

I copy the midi track to another midi track. this helps for a few minutes, but then screws up again.

I track transfered the midi tracks to a new session, and that fixed it for a few minutes and then screwed up again.

I Exported the midi and imported into a new session, and that screwed up too.

This happens on any session now.. new or old and it sucks!!
