DIGI 002 MIDI Problems
Hi Folks-
I am running PT 8 on a intel iMac running snow leopard. My 002 is grayed out in the Audio/MIDI MIDI Setup. I have tried updated to PT 8.03, unplugging + replugging the 002, and rebuilding the MIDI Setup with no luck. The 002 is plugged into a 800/400 firewire converter because this mac has an 800 firewire connection only. Any suggestions? Thanks Tim |

Re: DIGI 002 MIDI Problems
First, definitely do NOT unplug or replug the 002 while either the 002 or computer are on - you risk blowing a firewire port that way.
Now, to solve your problem let's try a couple things. Shut down your computer, turn off and back on the 002, then reboot the computer. Do the MIDI ports show up now? If not, please visit the General Troubleshooting thread and follow the specific instructions for trashing MIDI related preferences - it's in one of the replies to the main post. |
