Default Invalid clock source reverting to internal!!

Hi everybody...

I am using a Dual 2.5 G5 with 2.5GB of ram, a Digi002r and an ADAT XT 20.

I cannot seem to figure out why the clock source wont let me set the adat up to get those extra 8 tracks.
It doesnt even show up in the peripherals, if that matters.

I have been using PTLE 5.1.1 on a G4 with the Digi 001 and the very same ADAT and have had no problems whatsover.
What am I missing here? I have dbl checked the Lightpipes are in tight and properly set in-out and out-in.
This must be something rudimentary in the newer versions?

That happens with my G5 as well.* Usually a restart of my computer and my A/D will fix it.

Thanks for the rapid response but sadly this did not fix the issue.

I should clarify the correct error message I am receiving when setting clouck source to ADAT is:

"The External Clock Choice is Invalid. Resetting to Internal."

So I am basically dead in the water for receiving the 8 extra outs from my ADAT via the
Soundcraft Mixer's TRS analog direct outs feeding into
the ADAT via 56pin Elco Snake,
and leaving ADAT XT20 via
the lightpipe out--->into Digi002 Rack optical in.

Still perplexed, if anyone knows the secret handshake for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Are you certain in your PT hardware preferences that your optical in is set to ADAT as opposed to SPDIF?

How would I set that? (PT Prefs optical in)
I am thinking it already says on the top line: RCA=SPDIF, Optical=ADAT
Thanks for replying, any help is very much appreciated.
