Any news on that ? On my Mac it does not consistantly crash when double clicking on a MidiClip (or MidiRegion).
It just happens "once a while (average 4 times a day)" after recording a new MidiClip, then pressing stop and selecting the new region "too fast".

I found no way to reproduce it permanently.

The Issue seems to be fixed with the new 12.6.1 update.
I have encountered this bug repeatedly with the previous few versions which massively messed up my workflow, but have not comme across this issue since i've installed the new update.

Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem with 12.7, the update did not work, it actually made it worse. Is there anybody having the problem still? How did you fix it? Thanks

Occasionally - not that often as with 12.5.2 - but it is still there.

It seems the problem might have to do with a PT template created in PT11 HD that is opened in PT12 in a different computer.
When I open the PT12 session and click on a MIDI region it crashes.
Are you in a similar situation?

Go to Clips window and delete all unused midi clips. Try that first. Then save and reload the project.
