A little behind the curve but...PT 7.4 OS 10.4.11 ??'s
I still am waiting for the dust to clear before going to 8 and use Logic as a front end for MIDI heavy stuff. MY Protools has had an issue in the beachball hanging on Quitting the program. any thoughts to the culprit?? My setup is below. Thanks!

I had the same set up and got ready to move to 8 few months back, so i went leopard and 7.4.2. Did not buy 8 at the end because of the problems/look/and mainly the edit window issue for me. 7.4.2 is very good and will get you ready for the switch when you make it. BTW i'm on a PPC and it's running very well.

Have you tried trashing prefs or any of the other steps in the General Troubleshooting thread?
