Default expanding \"loop-selection\" while playing back...

hye,
may be stupid, but if i select a part of a region to find a proper loop or anything, i can´t expand it while playback mode... so i have to stop playback after i´ve expanded the selection with "shift+mouse click" and then to playback it again...

jez.. my bad english... hope someone got what i mean...

Hi gregor,
I'm not sure if you mean this, but if you right click on your Play button, it will loop the section you have highlighted. Right click Play again to cut it off.

I understand.. and what you're experiencing is the way it works. Pro Tools will continue to loop the original selection until you stop/start again.

You can expand it by sliding the selection arrow in the timeline bars-beats ruler. It will start at the beginning of the loop though when you do it. But it beats having to manually press play each time.
