But the interface between the control surface and engine uses EUCON, right? Since EUCON was designed to allow multiple control surfaces to control a single application or mix engine, using multiple surfaces together should eventually be possible where that makes sense.

It is interesting to see what the future brings regarding Eucon and AVB on new systems, but right now the official response is that you cannot use multiple S3 surfaces together.
