Quick Punch Recording
Using Pro Tools 8--Mudio Fast Trak Ultra:
I have marked the section of the track that I would like to punch in and punch out of. Recording process stars fine with pre roll. The only problem is that it continues to record beyond the marked area. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. 10 Willy |

Re: Quick Punch Recording
Is post-roll enabled? In any case, its easy to use the trimmer tool to drag the edge of the old audio to anywhere that you need. Not sure if you are new to all this, but its also possible to drag the starting edge too. PT is actually recording BEFORE it turns red with quick punch(handy if you miss the punch timing a bit, or if you get a click or pop at the punch point).
