Default Is PT 2020 Stable with Catalina

I'm on Catalina, no choice, and am on 2019 but would love to get Bounce to QT function back. Are things stable and what OS and PT seems to be rockin'.

I "had" to buy a new 7,1 Mac Pro and had no choice with Catalina as well. I've been running the latest PT Ultimate with no problem. I've been bouncing the audio and re-marrying the audio back to the quicktime in Shutter Encoder. It's free and powerful. But, the latest release should have some QT functions back.

Yeah, I've been using FFworks to convert mp4's into mxf files and then attach my mixes back to the mp4's for review and it's been working fine. Just curious if I should update our systems over the break.

I'm using PT2020.11 on a Mac 7,1 with Catalina and all is fine.
Bounce to QT now works (even though it says its in beta still), you can import a video and its sound to a track as before and apparently with the new 2020.12 version,
you can import the sound from a video clip with the right mouse menu again.
I haven't tried the new 2020.12 version myself yet, but the last 3 or 4 updates have been very stable, so I don't see any reason this one would be different.

Hope that helps.

I've just upgraded to Catalina 10.15.7. And PT 2020.12 Bounce to QT "Beta" is working.
However I cannot import audio from a QT or Mp4. PT hangs at the audio import dialog, and my Mac crashes when I hit cancel.

Going through trouble shooting routine now.

I always convert MP4 to Pro Res before importing.
Force of habit I guess from PT always being so flakey with MP4.

Pro Res imports fine here on Catalina, I just drag it in and it imports the audio just like it always used to.

I haven't had a problem importing or exporting QT's yet. Actually I did have one hang whilst importing audio from an MP4 QT but force quit and trying it again worked... so mostly good here. I still convert all my video to DNx MXF.
