There is no stability or performance advantage running PTHD on Mac Vs PC , dont believe the hype.
I run both and they are the same through and through.
Some people just prefer Mac OS over Windows or vice versa or maybe have some Mac only plugins such as Metric Halo Channel Strip.

If you dont really NEED to run Mac Os stick with Windows.

Ive never used the board you have but for a Hack Mac to work/less hassle you're best to use a board with an Intel chipset

Not sure if any of the folk with the Jetway board are using more than 2 of the PCI slots....

So just so's you know - I bought a s/h Accel card instead of upgrading to 10HD and it all works just fine, so HD3 Accel is good on these boards. Still got one slot free

cool thanks for the info, im still pondering over my setup, i have an HD3 in a magma chassis, a PCI UAD-1 and 2x PCI TC powercores to squeeze in (this is my current setup so the Jetway board is an attractive prospect for me.

That does depend a little bit on a overall setup, OS X for me is more stable when you have a lot of USB midi controllers for example. I have 3, and even disconnect's etc don't require as much rebooting.

Also, Omnisphere and Kontakt have the memory servers under OSX so they can access more RAM and the ability to stay under 2.5 GB or so on either platform has a dramatic increase in stability.
