This isn't something serious since you are already done working with your project (saved it and all that) but it kinda affects the user experience.

I don't believe Pro Tools is qualified to work with Windows 10 yet. I remember reading either here or on Greaslutz of other users having various problems with system operations and or plugins with Windows 10. I'm on Windows 7 and everything so far is working excellent. I'm going to try to recreate the other issues that have been posted in this thread. Even though I get the error message and not a crash, I believe that one problem might be an Mac issue with the crash but either way it's still a bug in both OS's.

This happens on realtime bounce to disc, it doesn't matter how many plugins i have in session (here are 4,one disabled) and after that i have bad ringy,distorted sound when i play session,i have to restart my imac,launching PT don't help everytime !it's imac i7 ,2,8GHZ, 16 GB, MacOS 10.8.5

did they take this in a bug list?
is it any list of known PT 12 bugs on their website or somewhere on the web?

confirmed here .. can Jeffro confirm and get this into the Bug list please ..

No crashes here on Windows 7 HDX with either a DSP or Native EQ1. I did get the error message as a stated before if I try to move the EQ1 plugin to an audio, master or aux track, but all I have to do exit the warning box and my session continues as usual. Also on Windows it looks as if if you try to move a Midi Track insert plugin to any track other then another Midi Track you'll get an error (or crash in OSX case). The only work-around I see is not move insert plugins from Midi to Audio type tracks (or from Midi to any track in OSX). You can always insert the plugin on the audio track and copy / paste the settings till (if) Avid fix the bug.

.. I just had this happen today .. went all Ring Modulator / Filter on me .. nasty .. had to restart ..

is this s new Bug that is with Virtual Instruments ???

I'm on PT since ver.12 and this is in every version till now.
It doesn't matter what kind of plugin I have in session or how many they are!

I can't find the 12.2.1 in my account and AvidAppManager looks like this despite having tried restarting, sync account etc!

OK, so an update for AvidAppManager suddenly arrived, but 12.2.1 doesn't seem to want to reveal itself.. Can someone provide me with a link for 12.2.1 perhaps?
