Default MBOX2PRO and MACBOOK 2.4Ghz 13,3" compatibility

Hi I would like to change my laptop with a macbook (not a macbook pro too expensive for me) so I would like to know if the macbook 2,4 Ghz is compatible with the mbox2pro (firewire)

Thank you

Thank you for the answer. However, I've already checked the digidesign pages and they do not speak about the macbook 2,4ghz(the last one). So If someone can tell me very soon if Mbox2pro and of course ptLE74 works with macbook 2,4GHZ.

Thanks

I'm working on a MacBook pro 2,2 GHz, 15" monitor.
(Leopard; 10.5.4., PT 7.4.2.)

So I pretend it works on a 2,4 GHz / 13" aswell.

Best
Nils

Yes, it does.

If you just bought it, you will need Pro Tools LE 7.4.2, as newer machines only ship with Leopard. Do not install any version prior to 7.4.2, as it will cause problems.

Hi thanks for the answer. I read some forum and it seems that the macbook (not the macbook pro) has only 1 firewire connector. So If I plug the mbox2pro , where could I plug the firewire harddrive. Does it work with a firewire hub?
