Default ungrouped.. but tracks are still acting grouped?

Hi ! I'm working on a session that was given to me to mix and it has quite a few groups set up already. I want to work individually between the tracks without the groups. I've hit ctrl-shift-G to disable all groups... but when I mute one track.. all tracks still mute... when I turn up the volume on one track.. every single track turns up.. (though, when I solo one track... only one solos.)

I assumed this was an ALL-group function, but if all my groups, including the ALL-group, are disabled, how are all of these tracks still linked together?

Thanks for your help!

Are the groups listed in the groups window all showing ungrouped?

Check your group attribute settings as well... mute and solo may not be linked to all tracks and may be throwing you..

The moral of this thread is "do a little troubleshooting BEFORE posting"... a reboot should be required as part of the forum login.. FF
