Default Track spacing

Is there a standard amount of silent record needed on a track before putting in masterlist?

No spacing needs to be made with the audio files before importing them into MLCD.

MLCD defaults to a 2 sec gap between tracks (the industry standard). However, you are free to change this to whatever value you like.

Hi again Brent! What is the minimum length between tracks that MLCD will allow? Is it 6 seconds?

_Minimum_ is 0 seconds. Maximum is more than 6, I did 15, but I think it can be as long as you wish.

That's correct red Book Standard requires that each index other than 0 be at least 4 seconds.

As far as the amount of silence between tracks, it is entirely up to the producer and/or mastering engineer. Usually it is done for feel and is dependant on the style of music.

Hope this helps,

MasterJ
