Default Cedar DNS 2000 & Pro Tools 7.1?

My plug in works but everytime I asign it a DNS channel (aes 1 or 2) it crashes Pro Tools? Cedar said to download the CS6 which isn't for pt 7.1...any suggestions? Does this problem exsist in PT 7.2?

We had a DNS 2000 on trial for a month and we couldn't get it to work at all with PT7. Clive Osborn at CedarUK says they are working on a fix. This is a top priority for them.

OK,

Here is the deal.

The key is the combination of Operating system AND protools version.

I can say that for sure, I have 2 systems running with DNS 2000 and ProTools 7.2, Operating system 10.4.6 that are stable and running normally.

There are still thins that cedar needs to fix for the SDK7 update that they are working on, but this particular combination will work.

I can also confirm that DNS 2000 is working properly so far with Pro Tools 7.2 and Mac OS 10.4.6.

OK I have Max OS X 10.4.7 and 7.1 I tried to d load the 10.4.6 updater it wouldn't install on my computer. I think I need a full install of 10.4.6 Is there anyway I could use 10.4.7 and 7.2?

In addition to all previous fixes, Pro Tools HD 7.1cs9 for Mac OS X adds the following:

Fixed: Scrubbing a Track Containing a Hardware Insert on Insert 5 Will Cause Pro Tools to Unexpectedly Quit (Item #73176)
5 is E. didn't know if it was your problem, but there were a few who were having this problem with DNS 2000 and this slot... so, i thought i'd suggest it and maybe an update to cs9 would fix your problem.

Thanks Jonathan and Bill!

I installed 7.2 with 10.4.6 and the Cedar is working. I hope the people at Cedar get to the bottom of the problem though.
