hardware:bypass power switch in expansion chassis?
The power switch in my digidesign 13 slot expansion chassis has failed, and I have had difficulty locating a new switch immediately. Is there any reason I cannot bypass the switch and "hardwire" the + to the -, at least temporarily? I don't believe that hardwiring could do any damage, and the entire power plug is externally switched, anyway.
thanks -John
