Mac OS X & Boot camp Vista?
I'm looking for a solution for this
1. DAW - Stable no issues PT8 2. Multi use machine - use for everyhting else, home, internet, School. Much of my school etc. operates with MS Vista. I'm thinking that by keeping PT8 all by itself on OS X will eliminate cross contamination issues with viruses, combatibilty issues, etc. I've heard that even if you dual boot a PC with two versions of MS Vista there can still be conflict issues even if they are on seperate drives versus partitioning. My thought is that by having two different operating systems these conflicts would be virtually eliiminated, and I would be left with a stable Mac based PT system as well as a PC to interact easily with the rest of the world. Does all this sound correct? Any tips or advice? Anything I'm missing? Thanks Jeff |

Re: Mac OS X & Boot camp Vista?
You've answered your own question buddy, bootcamp will allow you to run two systems completely independently. I've never had any conflicts with bootcamp.
