NEED ADVICE!
I just bought an old Tool Box (from early last year, I think). It has an
audiomedia III-PCI Audio Card, ProTools Software w/DAE Powermix, D-fx, D-Fi, Peak LE from Bias, and SFX Machine Lite from Bias. I got this Tool Box for only $399 (list $895), but it's old. How does this compare with the new software? For the requirements (on back of box), I only need 48 MB RAM, OS 8.6, and the chip provides 8 tracks of playback. This sounds pretty weak. I've got a 450MHz G4, with 512 MB RAM. Should I return my Tool Box, or go with what it has to offer. By the way, I'm making a CD. Thanks. |
