Default Aux FX sends not storing in snapshots

Everything is scoped, the aux/fx is on on the recall, no recall safe checked but when we make a change to the aux send levels into the reverbs or delays they do not recall. Puzzling? Any thoughts on what we're missing

Thanks

Scott

Is the relevant aux defined as an "aux fx" as opposed to "aux mon"? Check this in options, all auxes have to be defined as one type or the other, purely for the sake of snapshot flexibility.

They are defined as AUX FX. No monitor feeds from FOH.

Well, just to be sure let's run through the obvious stuff.
- "Aux FX" parameter is scoped in the relevant snapshots
- Relevant inputs and outputs are scoped within the snapshots
- Parameters are not recall safed on either the input or output side
- Auxes are defined as "aux fx"
- not forgetting to store changes and the snapshots are not locked
- not in preview mode:)

Nothing revolutionary here, but it is easy to miss something small, since there are about 8 places one can defeat automation.

Hi Scott,

Check that the CH SENDS is not recall safe for the auxes. This is found on the Recall Safe tab, under the outputs sub-tab.

To help narrow down, disable recall safe completely and see if the issue is solved. If so, then something is recall safe'd and it should be pretty simple to locate where. I suggest making a copy of the shot file first, and then working on this (with speakers turned off) until you find the cause.

Let us know what you find!

Sheldon

Think I need to have a chat with our FOH engineers, every box on the recall safe outputs for the AUX's was selected. Thanks Sheldon
