Apollo Twin UAD2 plug in latency
I have a brand new apollo twin solo, I noticed that there was latency during monitoring my guitar track. I have a guitar track, I duplicate this track and pan each hard left and hard right. As soon as you click on a UAD plug in you can hear a very clear chorus effect, pretty close to a slap back. This does not go away when you click on bypass, this only goes away when you remove the UAD plug in completely then the two track sound normal again. How do you mix with a delay on a track? This is the first time I'm sitting with this, am I missing something?? HELP!

Re: Apollo Twin UAD2 plug in latency
Can't tell if u r having a tracking or mixing issue.
UAD plugin in the console? Do you have the console delay compensation on? Are you using a plugin in the console that is cleared to track thru? Not all UA plugins are fit to track thru. Don't have a twin so I'm not sure about Pro Tools mode on the twin. If you are mixing in PT with UA plugins, or any plugins, make sure Pro Tools delay comp is on. Also, do you have any plugins on the master fader while tracking? remove them if you do. |
