Mike Thornton is respected and has connections in Avid. A VP of Avid went to him to explain the delay of the 2019 release.

Didn`t wish to cast aspersions on anyone over on PTE (they are good people)
Its just that (as previously mentioned) sometimes the plans change after their announcements. I suppose they operate a little like a newspaper that gets exclusives and in turn that drives traffic to their site.

All good, just that there is a lot of crap on the net you just don’t know these days. I guess it’s a wait and see.... be good if it does happen as I don’t think I would want to spend AUS$700 on it.
