Re: Importing Audio From CD - Help....ASAP!
There is a problem with audio CDs playing automatically by the finder, and then it's difficult to do this procedure.
If you don't have SoundAppFat and Toast Audio Extractor try this--- Go to MOVIE--- choose import: Switch the finder to Desktop (then stick in the Audio CD) Does CD icon show in finder? Select track and then point Pro Tools to save the converted file in the proper folder. Once it's saved as a QT Movie you can import again---this time use 'Import as Other Movie' and bring that newly converted file in as a 24 bit converted file (same as session). (this might work if your version of Quicktime doesn't work)
