Default Is it worth upgrading to Pro Tools 2023.6?

I am currently running PT 2022.12.0
on Monterey 12.6.3.
I have fully loaded Mac studio and super fast SSD drives.
Everything is working as good as I have ever experienced. I can run LOADED sessions , tons of Plugs and VI's . hundreds of Plugs. Low buffer sizes, It's really nice.
The question is, Is it worth upgrading to 2023.6 and Ventura for all the possible performance improvements (who doesn't want faster...everything?)
and the new features available in 2023.6.
I told myself i was holding out for Plugin Alliance to catch up. Now they have.
I was totally prepared to make this jump, but for the first time in years , im feeling hesitant. There seems to be so many issues for some users, and for some usages.

Hmmm, I never fear an update, but that's because I always(as in ALWAYS) have a backup plan in case it goes sour

You'll have to update some of your plugins but that's usually not expensive.

Please make a benchmark! See how long it takes to open a large session before and after the upgrade. Also make a snapshot of the System Usage window in PT before and after for the same session, and please share the results with us. I didn't think to do this. It doesn't feel any faster, but I certainly don't regret upgrading.

yep, restore last selection did not work no more, and i use it so many times a day in my workflow, i tried everything , cleaned uninstalled protools, downgraded to older versions, trash pref, delete anything protools in my machine. i opened another user for my OS and it worked fine, but in my administrator used, the fuction did not work, so obviously something in the OS was broken that made protools not function properly. Only way to fix this, was reinstall the OS. is working fine now

This is usually the case if you have had many in-situ OS upgrades instead of clean install. PT upgrade most likely had nothing to do with your problems. Glad you got it sorted out
