Default mirror analog 1-2 to spdif

can i mirror analog out 1-2, to spdif out in a pt session?

002r. what i want to do is send my mix out both analog 1-2 and spdif without having to repatch, reroute all that crap.....

Hold down Control+Option while clicking on the output tab of a track and select the SPDIF outputs - this will add that output to the currently selected output and apply it to all tracks.

so this has to be done on every track, aux, inst track, etc? there is no overall preference to do it automatically?

I posted this same question a few weeks ago .... looks like the only way to do it is the way described above by Digi tech support .... It seems as though there should be some kind of default or at the very least a way to automatically have any new tracks routed to both Analog 1,2 as well as Spidf outs .... but when I go to the global I/O settings ... you cannot select multiple outs as the default.

Hopefully this could be addressed in future versions but since the 002R is now discontinued I'm not holding my breath.
