Default 7.4 Ignition Pack 2 on Pro Tools 8 - Should I install?

Got Mbox 2 Pro for Christmas. It came with 7.4. I was running 7.1 prior to Christmas.

I installed Pro Tools 8.

Should I install the ignition Pack 2 that came in the box with 7.4?

Will those plugins work with 8?

Thanks

Here's the deal on this:

Ignition Pack with 7.4 was the last one they released, as it was discontinued when they came out with PT8 (because PT8 has a bunch of virtual instruments).

However, you can still use those various plugins and VI's. But you need the latest versions and updates. They say Leopard but I believe they're okay with Snow Leopard. In some cases they direct you to the manufacturers site. You can find the updates and info here:

Note that what came with the Mbox is different than what came with the 003 (Ignition pack vs. Ignition pack pro).

Also, you can ignore Xpand 1, since PT8 has Xpand 2.

And for Melodyne, I believe there's newer update on the Celemony website than what's listed here.
