I have never tried it, but if you say it works then cool, makes actually sense since it's Apples driver that is being used. But still, even if it's not actually Pro Tools, it's just one device that can talk to S3L at time from the Pro Tools tab, whether it's Pro Tools or some other software from Mac... and second signal can be present too, from Stage16 and just one of them is available at the channel at one time, either Stage 16 or whatever is coming from the Pro Tools tab.

the question is just if that "pro tools stream" is locked to a MacBook of if it could be another device as well. like on of the new motu avb devices for example. I guess someone just need to try it ;-)

I recently found some information that explained how Pivitec was able to connect their devices to the S3L. I used that info to write up a document that explains how to patch MOTU AVB audio interfaces to the S3L.
