Default Always Same Crash on Quit

Under OS 10.6.8, I had run both PT 10.3.2 and 10.3.3 without issue. Since updating to PT 10.3.4.181, I crash every time I quit. The following is a partial crash report (as the complete report is too large to post). If anyone has any information, I would appreciate your input. Thanks in advance:

Well no prizes for working out its crashing in rewire, is the rewire plugin up to date? Are you really using it? If not delete the plugin from the plugin directory.

Are every last one of all your other plugins up to date?

I just downloaded the most recent version . . .1.7, which was already installed. Melodyne and WAVES appear to be using this plugin - MelodyneEssentialRewireDevice. Therefore, I do not think I can delete Rewire.

You really need to make sure Melodyne is fully up to date. This combo is known to cause issues like this. Go and scrub over all your plugins very very carefully. If still happening work out what plugin it is (test by temporarily removing them from the plugin folder)... then take up that problem with the plugin vendor.

For this to work you have to quit protools, pull out a plugin, delete prefs and databases, and launch PT again. This forces PT to rescan the plugins folder and load your PIs again. (Prefs utility: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...44158598,d.bGE )

I've done this kind of troubleshoting many times, it's tedious work.
Little tip: if you have many PIs, you can start by pulling out the top half of them, do a test run, then the bottom half, and if you suspect that half to be the problem, test it without half of them, and so on. I hope you get what I mean.

Thanks to Darryl and Ben for your comments. I wanted to have something to report before I responded.

I did end up removing the "DigiReWire" plugin - I actually, put it in the unused plugins folder. Since I did this I have not crashed on quit. I have been in and out of ProTools several times today and all seems OK. Whether this is an OS10.6.8 issue or ProTools, hopefully it will be resolved.

Default Re: Always Same Crash on Quit

same problem here

my user library was hidden ( OSX default , 10.7.5 )

after making it visible again in the terminal + trashing prefs ( done this many times before, so i don´t think its a prefs problem )
the "crash on quit" seems to be fixed !!!

I have no idea if this makes sense, ... please report back
