How can I install Logic Pro 8 on Pro tools 002 rack using 6.9.2 running OSX 10.4.11 ?

I have Pro tools 6.9.2 using a 002 rack running it on OSX 10.4.11. I would like to install Logic Pro 8. Last time I installed Logic I had issues with my Pro Tools. I was getting a launch failure. I consulted with the DUC and was able to rectify the issue but I still wanna use Logic. How can I install Logic and not have the same problem? Can anyone HELP?

If I remember correctly, it is a shared library error, right?

My guess is that you may be out of luck, because the old version of PT is referencing something that Logic requires a newer version of..

So your options seem to be: Upgrade PT or make another partition, install Logic, and boot into that partition only when you need Logic. I don't know if you will be able to get both to work on the same system installation..
