Re: converting a logic 7 session in to a PT7 session
Export your Logic Session as OMF-if you have the DigiTranslator option in ProTools- that is the only way of 'conversion'
Otherwise, export the files from Logic from Start to End then import them ino ProTools |

Re: converting a logic 7 session in to a PT7 session
in Logic - export each track. from session begining to end, and import to PT.
I do it on a daily base. and that seems to work best for me. make sure you leave enough headroom on your master fader.

Re: converting a logic 7 session in to a PT7 session
another question on this actually. i did it the other day and have of the sessions were fine.
But within half of them there is a mix of both 16bit and 24bit samples. What is the quickest way of merging all of the files together so they all have a 0 start time? In the end i went in to prefs and under audio - DAE, changed the overall sessions bit rate as necessary. Get the feeling that there would be a much quicker and more PC way of doing this. My logic knowledge is poor. |
