Default TDM Flex cable issue

Hey.

Here I am trying to power up my Profile, after it's been sitting in a container (across land) in Japan for the past 7 days. Getting an error on power up.

"A TDM flex cable may be missing or improperly connected"

Did some searching around, booting the console for now the 7th time did nothing.

And help would be huge.
Can talk on phone too.

I have my Canadian mobile here and it works for receiving calls.
Just not sure who to call with the time difference.

I am pretty sure it is a loose connection between two DSP cards inside the engine. It requires opening up the engine.

I was able to get the console booted.
Wasn't a clear loose connection anywhere, all the jumper cables seemed to be connected just fine.
Took another few tries and the console booted ok.

Now I'm worried about when I have to power cycle it again.

You should always get in touch with Avid Live Sound support, they have numbers for different parts of the world so you can be covered wherever you are.

LATAM: +1 954-746-0956

Europe: 0 1753 659 500 / +44 1753 659 500

In your case it would not hurt to have a proper tech to service the FOH rack just to be sure. It's just a computer in there and it gets all dusty inside and connectors would love some cleaning from time to time on both, PCI cards and cables etc.
