protools 8 launch always stalls

I have the pro tools le 8 upgrade. I've installed it and gotten the code.
I have my LE device an MBOX attached and Source Connect Ilok attached.
Every time I try to launch it doesn't ask me for an authorization code but goes along normally installing plugins etc then stalls when it gets to the Source Connect info.
I have windows XP and had no problems with 7.4

What can I do to fix this?!!!!!!!
