G5 How quiet?

I 've seen a few posts regarding G5 noise. Are these isolated cases? Who's happy with the noise level?
I tried switching to a G4 733 from my G4 400 and I found the noise level totally unacceptable!

i have a dual 2 gig as my personal g5 and they are so much more quiet than the sharktooth g4's
i had a dual 1.25(2mb L3 series) that was LOUD.
you get used to it(the noise of a G4), but i'm aware of how quiet the G5 is.
i have a firewire drive hooked up to it that is louder(with no fan) than the G5!!!

hey willie,
yup its me, tried to email that to ya, but i got anti spammed.....
there is a caveat to the G5. they do run quiet, but they have a LOT of temperature controlled fans.
so if it did get really, REALLY hot inside , it has the potential to sound like a jet taking off.
every so often i can hear a subtle change of pitch from the fans, otherwise it seems VERY quiet.
