Default PT HD OMF exporting

I am trying to export 4 to 8 tracks of omf audio stems to an ABVB Avid. When I check enforce avid compatibility and embedded media, it seems to go through the process, but when imported to the Avid, only the first second of audio comes over with the file. The clip itself is the correct duration and the size of the files are consistent with the protools files.

Exporting the individual files works fine.

Any solutions?

Default Re: PT HD OMF exporting

Hi Rick
Are these actual contiguous mix stems, or mixed regions that are seperate? My question is because, if they're actual continuous "whole file" stems then why bother with OMF at all? Just give the picture department the SD2 or AIFF files, they'll import them, done.
I'm sure I've mis-understood your question or circumstances- this one seems too easy

Hope this helps and does not annoy,

They are contiguous mix stems and my work around has been to give them the individual files, but they then have to place each file on a track one at a time. Not a real big deal, but if I have 30 8 channel spots, it does add a considerable amount of time to the process. When I export from Audiovision, they can just bring in the 8 channels as one clip. It also would possibly save some user error sync issues.
