Default Bounce auto name change, I hate it!

After you've bounced a .wav or a quicktime, the next time you go to bounce something, PT has changed the last number in your filename say, '15' to the next numerical number (16).... SO ANNOYING! Anyway to disable this?

I'm using PT11

I haven't seen a way to disable or change this behavior in PTHD12. I think you either ignore it and run your own naming scheme, or if you have a lot of bounces to do, roll with the default naming system and then use A Better Finder Rename to batch process your bounces.

Yeah, really annoying if you're bouncing out a bunch of files, with a date at the end of the file name - suddenly you've got files dated 2015, 2016, 2017 etc.

I tend to enter the suffix that I want, copy it, and then paste it to the name field, for each file I'm about to bounce.
