Procontrol, USB to ethernet Adapter
I've just realized that I haven't accounted for networking a G4 AND running a Pro Control. Is a USB to Ethernet adapter a viable solution? All the slots in the G4 are taken, so another network card isn't an option.

Re: Procontrol, USB to ethernet Adapter
The adapter is cheaper.
We are also curious about having 2 Pro Controls and 2 PT rigs on the same network. How does it know which is which? |

Re: Procontrol, USB to ethernet Adapter
I would not recommend using USB for this. One of the nice things about the PC being Ethernet is the very fast realtime response of the control surface.
You should be able to find a 4 port hub for under $50. A good investment if you've already spent the cash on the PC. |
