PT First for Production Classes
I am running a couple of introductory production classes, and want to use PT First for the first term. I am concerned that my students will not be able to use the program, even if I supply them with the installation package for it, because of the idiotic way Avid are making it available.
This has the potential for really derailing my Fall semester, if every student I have has to wait in a queue for the thing. I might as well go back to Audacity, if that is the case. |

Re: PT First for Production Classes
Interest in Pro Tools First has been ever greater than anticipated and we are initially rolling this out in batches to make sure we can provide a solid experience while meeting the demand. (Your account was enabled back in July.)
I'll start a support case to get your info and look into this request further.

Re: PT First for Production Classes
Can I use my installation package, and have my students create iLok and Avid accounts, install PTF on the machines in my lab (11 workstations), and have them able to log into those accounts to use it? Can I give them my downloaded 12.1 installer so that they can work at home?
