midi configuration possibility?

Hello Group,

ahemm first time here...is this thing on (tap tap)

Well i have worked with other programs that have something called key bindings, also midi learning to control many things. I am sure this is not news to anyone here. However i have this griffin powermate usb midi device that i thought it would be really cool to b able to scroll the eidt window horizontally with. Can i? Can you show me the road? Where to turn? Where to look? I tried STFM (search version of RTFM). Thanks if you know.

I just found the answer on the net and i believe the answer is no. But even then if i had a digi002 with control surface or command 8 would i be able to control HORIZONTAL SCROLL of EDIT VIEW?
