Yes. I agree. Dealing with Avid can be difficult as you have to buy service tickets per problem and wait on hold sometimes for 15 to 20 minutes for support. I use the Pro tools help line service site. An actual person answers the phone! I believe their link is www.protoolshelpline.com I just keep their number on hand which is 7074941285. Besides the tech help during some of the rare times in which I can't figure out a system glitch, I actually also picked up a couple techniques, which I was suprised that I didn't know after they took a look at my work flow (I work as a mixing engineer on many different studio boards and DAWs). I agree. Dealing with avid support can be hard due to the long wait times and the purchasing of a per problem ticket. If anyone needs instant help from a live person I picked up this number 7074941285. I work in a mixing house and in the rare event of a glitch I keep the number on hand. I believe its the pro tools help or hotline. Hope this helps.
