Default Bomb Factory Essential: Clip Remover 3.0

Anybody using this and can give me a review
Sounds useful for $99
Cheers
Doug

"The BF EssentialTM Clip Remover repairs clipped audio recordings. That red light no longer means a lost take!
You'll be amazed how quickly this essential tool can repair clipped recordings. Best of all, it's way faster and more accurate than using the pencil tool.
Set your levels very carefully. But when you blow it... try the BF Essential Clip Remover."

I'd love to know!
It doesn't say "this is a joke", says AudioSuite only and it's only available off the website, if anyone has $99 spare and wants to check it out...

is there a demo? I can imagine this working, as i have some wonderful personal experience using waves restoration x diclicker and decrackler to remove 90% of the digital clipping garbage on some dialog. Really amazing. Maybe they took a similar approach.

If 98 other people want to put up a dollar we can check it out...
I'd spring for it but my finances are in the red

There is a demo, I tried it some time ago and it didn't work well. If it is a joke, it isn’t funny.

So it makes the whole clip clipped so everything's evenly in the red?...then you can turn it down...interesting approach...
(Sorry I missed seeing the demo in the Essentials demo package )

Clip repair is high in my list of needs. We usually recieve lots of clipped location sound recordings. I remember that the old No-Noise pakage (the one running on Sonic workstations) had a module for distorsion reduction. It worked realy goood. Unfortunatelly no other developer offered something similar.
I do include this request in every pool that a plug-in manufacturer wants me to fill. To date, no such product available. Or I'm alone on this or is very difficult to do it right. We'll see.
