On the subject of chipsets, is the 965 chipset Digi approved yet for use with PTLE? I can recall the 975 was, but I cant find the Digidesign link :-(
And I would imagine it will be a long time before the P35 is looked at my Digi. I realise we are all taking a risk buying parts that have not been officially approved as compatible, but if we wait for that approval (as I did with my AMD 4400), the stuff is outdated as soon as we buy it

MAL77 somewhere I came across the fact that one brand of older 965 boards is qualified in the compatibility pages If I recall correctly it was with one of the Pressler based dual cores. Regardless they ARE working GREAT!. Its P35 at this point thats the not so great unknown.

I haven't actually checked the difference in price between the two but can't imagine its not worth doing.

All of the major E-tailers always have some RAM deals going.

Big plus for the ASUS and I believe also the Gigabyte boards.
