Playback turns to white noise Mbox/OSX/6.0

I'm starting to use my MBox and after about 30 seconds of normal playback the signal turns to white noise and I have to restart Pro Tools (6.0). I'm not using any other USB devices on this computer. The audio files are fine, record fine and bounce to disk fine it's just noise on the output of the MBox. Any ideas? Thanks - Eric

hmmm i have seen a similar post on this. and it is an Mbox as well. i have not seen this on my 001. maybe this is an mbox thing? have you contacted digi directly?

maybe digi can chime in here. i would be curious to know if there is an 001 user out there that has hit this.

sorry i have not seen this, only a trend on the DUC with Mbox users...

I get this behavior on both MBox and Digi001 systems, but the white noise is random bursts of a second or so, and generally only in certain sections of songs.

Your using 6.0 so i'm surprised you have it aswell! I have mbox with 5.2 and had the level meter jumping and a horrible static like noise on rec enabled tracks when i had a session open longet then 10 mins...i downloaded the latest driver from this site and now all is well...i can leave tracks record enabled all day it seems and no more crackle [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
