Default Ram limitations

Does anyone know if there are Ram limitations (not able to access more than 2-3 gigs) on the Mac like it is with Windows?

Thanks,
Jeff

This would be better answered in the MAC forum. AFAIK, MAC will utilize as much RAM as your machine allows you to install so check with your local MAC store.

Check the Mac forums for sure. I think OSX is subject to the same limitations as any other 32bit operating system (4GB), but as I recall you can also access up to 1.5-2.5GB or so per application which lets you take advantage of memory quantitys over 4GB.
