Not Komplete

Hi,

I am using a Komplete control S49 with PT12.

I can not get the sounds to play through an instrument track on PT

However, when I plug another midi controler keyboard in it works fine

I'm sure it used to work, but some reason in the keyboard does not trigger sounds in PT

Any ideas >

If you view the MIDI track section in the mix window, is the keyboard the controller assigned to the MIDI input?

Also make sure the keyboard and PT are communicating on the same MIDI channel (there's 16 channels per stream).

I've not needed to do that in the past.....

I select Inst track then select plugin and off it goes....

When I use my Line6 midi keyboard I have no problems......

But when I use the Kontrol S49, I get nothing...However, when I change the sounds in FM8 the parameters change on the keyboard.

Additionally, the keyboard works fine as a stand alone (use out of PT) Won't work in Reason either.

I must me missing something

Well you may have to check now that everything is communicating on the same MIDI channel. Things can mess up inside PT.

Now thats a little odd.

I went through a number of deleting, re-booting and cursing only to find a new Instrument track created, now works with my S49 (i'm sure I went through this before).

Anyway job done!
